THE MOZART MUSIC PROGRAM (TMMP)
REGISTRATION AND AGREEMENT
This agreement/contract outlines the terms and conditions of your child’s participation in The Mozart Music Program (TMMP), an outreach of Charleston International Music School.
Enrollment
TMMP services are provided by mutual consent, and either party may terminate services at any time. If your child’s conduct, musical progress, or cooperation with TMMP teachers does not meet the program’s standards, TMMP leadership reserves the right to terminate the agreement with your child. If you cannot support your child’s progress within the program, you agree to withdraw your child quietly and orderly. No Make-up For Group Classes
The Mozart Music group classes work like a school, for that reason we highly recommend that our parents not miss classes. Nevertheless, one extra classe will be offered every semester and especially during the holidays as an opportunity for parents to make up missed lessons. Regardless of any missed classes, payments must be made consistently each month.
Private lessons Make-up
Emergencies and health issues do arise, therefore making up classes will be arranged as the schedule mutually allows. Because students and parents are busy, in some cases class(es) will be made up the following month(s).
Please notice, only lessons cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours prior the lesson will be allowed, and payments for classes must be made consistently each month for the entire number of lessons. It is possible to schedule or to make-up lessons during the holidays, as mutually acceptable.
-
In the case that you will not be in town during a particular week(s) or have previous commitments, please plan ahead for make-up lessons.
-
If you miss a lesson(s), the month(s) before, and therefore have a make-up class(es) pending, the current entire month of tuition is still due.
-
Parents are in charge of coordinating make-up lessons with teachers. In case there is a make-up lesson needed because of a teacher, The teacher will be in charge of coordinating it.
Semi-Private lessons Make-up
Semi-private lessons can be made up only if all students in the class miss and then agree to make up at the same time.
Recital Fee
A $40 recital fee will be charged per student performing in a recital
Piano accompaniment fee
Depending on the instrument or piece, students might need a piano accompaniment. The fee for the accompaniment will be established with the pianist and will be paid directly to him or her.
Discipline
You agree that discipline is necessary for your child’s education and commit to supporting the authority, philosophy, objectives, policies, and discipline of TMMP.
Practicing
Practice is essential for musical excellence. Parents must support and encourage their child’s practice routine, with the duration determined by the teacher based on the child’s age and level.
Emergency Procedures
In case of an emergency or serious illness, TMMP will attempt to contact you first. If you cannot be reached, TMMP has permission to make necessary arrangements for your child’s treatment. If the emergency is life-threatening and you cannot be reached, the attending physician has permission to act as needed, absolving TMMP of liability.
Liability
You waive and release TMMP from liability in the event of an accident, allergy-related incident, or serious illness. If TMMP cannot contact you and immediate action is required, TMMP may take whatever steps it deems necessary in its best judgment.
Parental Commitment
You commit to fostering a positive environment for all children in the program. Complaints must be addressed directly with the person involved, not shared with other parents or on social media. If unresolved, issues may be escalated to the TMMP Director. Should TMMP determine that your actions do not support a cooperative and committed relationship with the program, TMMP reserves the right to request the withdrawal of your child.

If there is an update to this contract TMMP will notify you. Admission to the program is a privilege, not a right. By selecting below, “I agree with the terms” you are to be bound by this contract.
