Private lessons are the most traditional and effective way to learn a musical instrument.  The speed of modern day technology has not replaced the efficiency of learning an instrument when cultivated between a nurturing student/teacher bond.

 

• Private lessons teach personal discipline, accountability, a strong work ethic, responsibility, and character traits that are absolutely necessary for success in life.

• In private lessons the  teacher is able to note areas of struggle and give individual-specific assistance and to perfect individual skills.

• Repertory is chosen based on the student's individual needs.  

• Private lessons help children achieve the greatest amount of success in the least amount of time.

• Private lessons give students a sense of identity. It is a special time just for them where they can meet with their teacher and work together to improve their own skills, build confidence, and increase motivation. 

• Private lessons move at a pace where the student can progress as slowly or quickly as need be.

 

Lessons are offers in 30, 45 or 60 minutes weekly on a scheduled basis from September through May, and by appointment from June through August.
